  • I have just finished a revision of my novel The Hot Springs of America, and posted to this site. This is an initial reworking of the novel to take account of the events of September 11, 2001 -- necessary since the novel deals with home-grown terrorism in the USA.   • I've Recently finished writing a computer program to help automate the process of keying in words and sentences, in order to reduce the risk of developing RSI. The computer program, called TypFast, includes over 17,000 short forms for English words and phrases, so it is, in some respects, a comprensive extension of the English language. Researching and writing this has taken about three years of my spare time. I hope it will play a role in helping to protect from Repetitive Strain Injury some of the workers who are no longer protected by Clinton's ergonomic regulations (which George W. Bush withdrew).
