Oh where are you taking me, lady of mine?
Where are you leading me?
To strange lands of poetry you entice me,
Of Hafiz and Dickinson,
Where strangers give you great kingdoms,
And press them right into your hand,
And young women follow rats to the desert,
And die there of thirst in the sand,
In the sand, in the sand.
Oh where are you taking me, lady of mine?
Where are you leading me?
To strange lands of poetry you entice me,
Of Wordsworth and Coleridge,
Where ice, mast high, comes floating by,
As green as emerald,
And children come down from heaven,
Trailing clouds of glory,
Of glory, of glory.
Bridge:
I don’t know if you’ve been to these kingdoms,
But you can come with me if you will,
Just open a book of poetry,
And take of it all of your fill.
I’ll build you a castle of magic,
Up on the rise of the hill.
Oh where are you taking me, lady of mine?
Where are you leading me?
To strange lands of poetry you entice me,
Of Yeats and Kahlil Gibran,
Where a man loves the pilgrim soul in you,
And your sorrow unmasked is your joy,
It’s your joy, your great joy.

No matter what we do, no matter where we go,

No matter what our troubles on the way,

No matter what we say, to each other through the day,

I will be with you there in the morning,
No matter if you fail sometimes to be the queen of hearts,
And if the romance doesn’t even start,
I will love you just the same, as if you were on flame,
And I’ll be with you there in the morning,
Always with you there in the morning.

It is just a fact of life; it is just the way,

That we come to know each other just the way we are.

It’s how we learn and grow, so better seeds we’ll sow,

In the rest of our live’s many mornings.

But when things are going well, and we rise to heaven from hell,
D Dsus2 D7sus2 D7 G
It’s such a joy to have you here with me.
And when the sparks fly high from the fires of met desires,
And I wake up with you warm in my arms,
That’s the better not the worse of what I’ve had since birth,
And that’s what keeps me ever with you in the morning,
That’s what keeps me ever with you in the morning,
I always will be there in the morning!

Got to go now to my cabin by the stream,
Got to get there tonight.
Got to get back to the people who I love,
Who are living in community, there.
This is my bliss, it is where I belong,
And you can come along.
Got to get away from the workaholic city,
Got to get away from the TV.
Got to get back to the farm and the forest,
Where I can live mindfully,
Where we are planting change’s seed,
And letting it grow for others to see!
Bridge:
This is where we grow our food
In a permaculture garden.
And this is where we raise our children
To love themselves and others.
This is where we learn to live
In harmony with nature,
The way we all must learn to live,
If we want to have a future.
Got to let go of yesterday’s ideas,
That have just about ruined our planet.
Thinking we are separate from nature and each other,
And there’ll always be more to exploit.
We need to know that we all are one,
In our garden in the sun.
Got to abandon the crazy idea,
That buying things will make us happy.
And start doing less and being more,
In love and understanding.
That way we’re planting change’s seed,
And letting it grow for others to see!
Got to go now to my cabin by the stream,
Got to get there tonight.
Got to get back to the farm and the forest,
Where I can live mindfully,
Where we are planting change’s seed,
And letting it grow for others to see!

Let's all live by the words we say.
Let's all live by the words we say.
If we can live by the words we say,
following a true and honest way,
then who can tell what what peace may come,
if we can live that way?
O brother, let's all live,
let's all live, truly live.
O brother, let's all live, live in that honest way.
If we can live in that honest way,
showing others kindness day by day,
then we can shine the light of love,
and peace will come to stay.
O sister, let's all love,
let's all love, truly love.
O sister, let's all love, love in that peaceful way.
If we can love in that peaceful way,
showing others kindness, day by day,
then we can shine the light of hope,
and joy will come to stay.
O children, let's all grow,
let's all grow, truly grow.
O children, let's all grow, grow in that joyful way.
If we can live by the words we say,
following a true and honest way,
then who can tell what peace may come,
if we can live that way?
O people, let's all live,
let's all live, truly live.
O people, let’s all live, live by the words we say.
(Oh sisters) live by the words we say.

Krishna, divine avatar, show me divine mother,
ever loving mother, she's who I'm longing for.
Jesus, light of my world, take me to our father,
ever blissful father, open the door now.
I was lost in the world,
now I am finding, peace that's abiding.
Thank you dear Lord.
I have shut out the world,
now I am finding, inwardly hieing,
bliss, my dear Lord.
Your will is my will!
Tell me I'll do it -- your will, I'll do it.
My life is yours.
Oh but what can I do to be worthy of you?
And what what can I do that you want me to do for you?
'Cause all I know that I know is that
Your dream is for all your children to
live together peacefully
and love each other.
'Cause I know that I know that
You love us through time never ending,
And never give up, never ever give up, on us.
Oh Krishna, divine avatar, show me divine mother,
ever loving mother, she's who I'm longing for.
('n) Jesus, light of my world, take me to our father,
ever blissful father, thank you dear Lord.

Verse 1
All who care around the world,
We need to live a way that’s right.
To end all the hate, we’ll show a love that’s burning bright,
(And) living that everyday love, the goal of peace will soon be in sight.
Chorus
It’s a new state of mind, a complete change of heart,
That’s what we need to make a fresh start.
A brightness of mind, and a full loving heart,
To bring peace to the world, we must each play our part.
We can all live simply and get out of debt,
And live for each other and not for more things.
We’ll have time for each other and our kith and kin,
We don’t need the trouble that the rat race brings!
Verse 2
It’s time for the meek to inherit the Earth,
And end the reign of of hate and greed.
The elite’s had its day, there’s no need to grovel and plead.
We can own our own power, cooperate and take the lead.
Chorus
Verse 3
We can make a new economy,
And shut out all that corporate greed.
Trade with each other, barter and share, for what we really need.
Grow food on the land, to give and to share, together we’ll plant the seed.
Chorus
