What was Jesus doing during the 18 "lost years," between the ages of 12 and 30, when the Gospels mention nothing at all about him? In this book Kersten presents some evidence that Jesus spent this time in India, learning about religion and teaching it. Kersten also argues that Jesus did not die on the cross, but only went into a swoon, after which he escaped from Israel and went to live and teach again in India. Fascinating reading, with a some mysterious photographs, including one of Jesus' supposed tomb in Shrinagar in northern India.
